Veryl's sixty year career has been dedicated to portraying wildlife and domestic animals through realism. She is well known for bronze sculptures as well as oil painting.

She is currently working on a 7' high bull bison commissioned for the Charles and Mary Ann Goodnight Historic Ranch near Amarillo, Texas. She looks forward to sharing the process with studio visitors. Due to the size of this sculpture, it is being created in the garage, a short walk from the studio.

T. J. Zark and Susan Matteson, two very talented painters, will be displaying their work in the barn studio along with Veryl's paintings. Visitors can experience the work of all three artists in a beautiful setting - after being welcomed by famous BurroFest models, DonKey and Lucky.

Special driving instructions:
From Hwy 160 - go north on Echo Bason Road (CR 44) for one mile. Turn right onto Road L, then ALMOST IMMEDIATELY take a left at the black mailbox. First stop is the Studio is at the north end of the big barn.Second, see monument in progress in the garage - a short walk from studio.
