After 20 years of working as a professional mosaic artist in Austin, TX, my family and I recently relocated seeking a slower and less stressful lifestyle. We chose Cortez due to a family connection. We purchased an old Primitive Baptist Church. It is now a private mosaic and clay studio. I fell in love with my art form decades ago, and have committed myself to its continuous improvement and mastery. I use many found objects and semi-precious stones. I also make many of my own ceramic tiles.
